Gendaphool is our marigold print, and few things say celebration in India quite like marigolds. Strung across doorways, woven into garlands and offered at every puja, the gendaphool is the flower of auspicious beginnings. We've printed it across this kurta so it feels festive the moment it's on.

The kurta is made in the softest 100% cotton mulmul (malmal): light, breathable and gentle on the skin. Little ones stay comfortable through long pujas, garba nights and family lunches, and grown-ups do too.

It comes in sizes from 1–2 years all the way to adult XXL, so fathers, sons and brothers can twin in the same print.

FAQs

What is gendaphool?
Gendaphool is the Hindi name for the marigold, the bright orange-and-yellow flower used in garlands, rangoli and puja offerings across India. It is considered auspicious, which is why marigold prints are a favourite for festive wear.

What fabric is this kurta made of?
100% cotton mulmul (also called malmal), a fine, soft and breathable single-fibre cotton.

Can fathers and sons wear matching kurtas?
Yes. The Gendaphool kurta is available in kids' sizes from 1–2 years to 12–14 years and in men's sizes S to XXL. Add each size you need to the cart separately.

Is a pajama included?
No, the kurta is sold on its own. A matching white cotton pajama is available separately.

How do I wash it?
Dry clean the first time. After that, gentle hand wash or machine wash, and wash coloured clothes separately.

  🚫 Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

  1. Muslin Swaddles, Bibs & Burp Cloths – No returns or exchanges.
  2. Onesies & Sleepsuits for babies – Eligible for exchange only.
  3. Sale Items – Not eligible for return or exchange.
  4. Limited Edition Products (Holi, Christmas, etc.) – Exchange only.
  5. Unstitched Fabric – Not eligible for return or exchange.
  6. Used or Washed Products – Cannot be returned or exchanged.
  7. Once Exchanged – Items that have already been exchanged cannot be returned/exchanged again.

  ❌ Cancellations

  Changed your mind? No problem!

  • Email us ASAP at support@turaturi.com with the subject: ORDER CANCELLATION and your order number.
  • If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and process a full refund within 7 working days.
  • If it's already shipped, wait for delivery and raise a return request. Refund will be issued as per refunds policy.

  📦 Address Errors / Undelivered Orders

  1. Please double-check your address and phone number before placing an order.
  2. Once an order is shipped, we cannot modify address / contact details.
  3. If a courier returns the order due to incomplete/wrong address, a flat ₹150 return-processing fee will be deducted before issuing your refund — same as any other return.

  🔄 Returns & Exchanges

  We get it. Sometimes sizing goes wrong, especially with non-stretch mulmul. We're happy to help!

  1. Raise a return/exchange request within 7 days of delivery: https://www.turaturi.com/apps/ezy/returns
  2. Pack the item with original bill & tags.
  3. We'll schedule a return pickup and process once we receive and check the product.
  4. One return/exchange per order only.
  5. For exchanges:
     • Lower priced item? You'll get store credit for the difference.
     • Higher priced item? We'll send you a payment link for the balance. (COD not allowed for exchanges.)
  6. For faster exchanges, place a fresh order and mark the original for return.
  7. Damaged/used items will not be accepted.

  
  Reverse Pickup Info:

  • Pickup is only from the original shipping address (within India only)
  • Only 2 attempts will be made. If unsuccessful, you'll need to send it to us at your own cost (no reverse shipping reimbursement after 2 failed pickup attempts)
  • If your pincode isn't serviceable or our courier partners cannot pick up the return package for a courier-related reason , we will ask you to ship back the product. Once received, you will be issued upto ₹75 reimbursement via store credit.
    
  • We cannot provide reverse pick up for international orders. 
    
    

  For customers located in the European Union, please refer to the EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal section below, which applies in addition to our general returns policy.

  💰 Refunds

  1. A flat ₹150 return-processing fee will be deducted before issuing refund. This applies uniformly to all regular orders — prepaid, COD, free-shipping or paid-shipping orders alike. 
     
     
  2. Express Shipping orders: the ₹150 flat fee applies as usual, but the Express shipping charge itself is non-refundable and will not be returned along with the rest of the order value. 
     
     
  3. International orders - Shipping will not be refunded. Please refer to section 'International Orders – Customs, Duties & Taxes' for more info 
     
     
  4. Refunds are issued via:
     • Prepaid Orders: Refunded to original payment method or Store Credit — your choice.
     • COD Orders: Refunded as Store Credit only
       
       
  5. Refunds are issued every Monday, within 7 working days of us receiving the return item and checking for damages
     
     
  6. Items returned in used/damaged condition will not be refunded.
     
     
  7. Exchanges are not subject to the ₹150 fee — your first exchange per order is free.
     
     
  8. For EU customers exercising their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, refunds will be processed as per the EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal. Click here.

  📦 COD Orders – Special Notes

  • COD available across India (except for Unstitched Fabrics).
  • If a COD order is refused or not accepted at delivery, we reserve the right to disable COD on your future orders. You can still shop prepaid.
  • All COD returns are refunded via store credit only. No cash/bank refunds available for COD orders.

  ⚠️ Damaged or Missing Items

  If your order is damaged or incomplete:

  • Email us at support@turaturi.com with your order number.
  • Attach a photo AND an unpacking video, including the courier packaging.
    
  • Kindly email us within 24 hours of the delivery date.  As per the courier guidelines, we may not be able to raise or resolve the issue after this time period.
  • We are unable to resolve damage claims without compliance of the previous 2 points.

  🌍 International Orders – Customs, Duties & Taxes

  The following applies to all orders shipped outside India.

  1. Any customs duties, import taxes, or VAT charged by the destination country are set by that country's government and are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in your order total or shipping fee, and Tura Turi has no control over them and cannot waive, reduce, or refund them. We recommend checking your own country's import rules before placing an order.
  2. If an international order is held, refused, or returned because the customer chooses not to pay applicable customs duties, import taxes, or VAT, we will attempt to recall the shipment where possible. This is not guaranteed once a parcel is with customs, and it may take some time.
  3. If and when the item is returned to us, we will refund the order value minus all shipping costs incurred by us — both the original outbound shipping and the return shipping — as these are charged to us by the courier regardless of delivery.
